Still Waiting.
Okay, so with Matthew I don't remember doing this much waiting. Maybe because I was working and by the time I finished that, chased the cows back in the barn (that was the first day of my mat. leave), Matthew arrived 3 days later. Here I am, thinking every braxton hick could be it or every funny tingle or pain could be it too. I feel great right now. Back pain, but my energy is there and I can clean the house (minus floors) in under an hour when I have people showing up soon. Ryan is home more now and Matthew is happy. Dad (or as Matthew has started to call him Ryan), and grandpa are still his favorite people, and Hayley too, because they are more active with him than me. Today we made cards for Fathers day, got ink everywhere, but the end result was great and we had fun. Hope dad likes them. I am in need of ideas for a good double stroller. So far the ones that I have seen, I haven't liked. I am even willing to sell my zooper if I can find a good one that will fit in the back of my car, but also work around the house and at the pool. If you have any suggestions or find any good pictures of one, let me know.

Broken Finger Scare and Bellis Fair
Well, yesterday was a long day. Matthew decided to fall down and attempt to break his pinky finger. After the doctors, emergency room, and x-rays, it was nothing more than a sprain. It is still twice the size, blue and black, a scraped all over. Poor little finger. Night time he cried abit due to the pain, but after I drugged him up, he slept. He is still favoring it, but he is back to normal and says his hurt self is all better. I love the language of a two year old. Today was a good day. My friend Naomi and I went to the states with her baby Ava. Our two boys were lucky enough to not come with us. One in day care with Grandma and the other working with Grandma. It was wonderful. We got so much more shopping done and Ava was a great sport and talked the whole time. There were tons of deals to be had and I wish I had been able to spend more, but because I was afraid to pay duty, I tried to keep to my limit. If I had known, the border guard was going to be so nice even though we did go over our limit, I would have spent more. I bought mostly stuff for Matthew and the baby to be. Matthew has hit a growth spurt and some of his jeans are starting to look like flood pants. Old Navy had a great deal, 2 for $25 and with the dollar being great, I had to buy them. I am now home and exhausted. Tomorrow I am going to relax and do laundry and rest on the couch. I deserve it.

3 weeks to go

Okay, so the count down is still going. After all of the braxton hicks I had yesterday, I though for sure this must be it. (Just a little reminder, my water just broke with Matthew, no contractions until the induced me in the hospital). Well, here I am, not in the hospital, but feeling alot better than yesterday. I really should stop trying to do so much yard work and house cleaning. All the stuff that I wanted to do way before I was pregnant, I have done probably in the past three weeks. Cleaned the front closet, cleaned the en suite in our bedroom that is currently storage, organized all of Matthews old clothes, shoes, boots, socks, boxed them, labeled them, and put them away. Found the exersaucer legs (if you still want to borrow it Patty, it is ready to go) and baby toys Ryan had cleaned up, but forgot where he put them. Cleaned out my closet. Got rid of clothes that I hadn't worn in years but kept thinking someday I may want to wear it. Packed my bag for the hospital, trying to think of what I need to bring and what I wished I had when I had Matthew. I can't remember. I should really make lists. Always an afterthought. I found Cars material at Walmart and promised Matthew that I would make him some new blankies, so it is on my list to get done. Hopefully that is tomorrows job. I am resting today. I finally got Ryan to put up the rest of the picture frames that have been lying around the house. There are some that are outdated and I will be changing them so they are not up, but at least they are not lying on the floor in the spare room anymore. Well, I will keep everyone posted as to whether or not this child makes an earlier entrance or not. Pray for early. This back pain is driving me nuts.
