Have you ever felt so exhausted, but were unable just to sit and rest? That was me today as I tackled the computer room and organized Matthews bedroom and all of his toys. I have never had such a well behaved boy in such a long time. The more toys I found that he hadn't seen since who knows when (and yes, I found the battery operated Thomas that has been missing, yet, still no DVD remote. It must be in the couch). Matthew never knew he had so many tractors and trucks and backhoes. I am missing Sally, again, probably under the couch or the coffee table. After throwing out all the kid meal toys that just collect dust and have no use and bagged all the toys together that are supposed to be together and put all the baby toys in a box because they really don't need to be in the bins, Everything was much cleaner and I felt good. That was just my morning. Now as I sit here on the computer with back
pain, I look back and think, was I nuts. No, not really because Matthew had a great day of playing and helping mom because her back hurts. His words, not mine. He does catch on quick. He doesn't seem to be bother by his finger today. We found out on Saturday that it is broken and healing time is 2-4 weeks. So long for a little boy. They could splint it, but he doesn't like band-aids or stickers on his hands so he wouldn't handle a splint. He is just very cautious as to how he uses it. Ryan is sticking closer to home and answering his cell phone faster these days, but he should be. The baby could be here any time. I don't have any new pictures to post today. Camera is already in the hospital bag ready to go. It comes out, but if it isn't in there when I need to go, I can't say that I will remember to put it in there. And we want pictures.
