As I looked at the day of my last post, I realized, it is probably time to update. I enjoy facebook a lot more, so I don't post on here as regularly as I used to.
Well, lets see, December flew by. We were all sick with colds, throat infections, ear infections, streph throat, etc. I believe we finally got rid of most of it by the time we went to my parents house for Christmas.
Christmas was great. We got to spend some good qualtiy time with everyone and wishing there was more time to spend with other people. Matthew and Jordyn got spoiled as usual. To be exact, the extra hockey bag I packed was fully of their stuff. Well, I did hit the boxing day sales and the kids stores had great sales. I believe I almost got J. a whole new wardrobe for the next size up in less than $100. I am just looking for some summer clothes and a bathing suite. Matthew, got a few things, but as I am hoping to go shopping on Sunday, I will be picking up some new clothes for him.
Updates on J.
She is growing like a weed. On the 1st she will be 7 months. She is trying to crawl, well, so does the push ups and then gets frustrated because she can't move. Poor child. She has no teeth yet, but I swear she is teething as she is super cranky these days. Also she seems very attached to me until her dad walks in. I believe she loves him more. Oh well, maybe if there is another child (not in the near future), I will be the one they love the most. :) She is a social girl and loves being the center of attention.
Updates on M.
What can I say. My boy will be 3 in march. Yikes, he is such a little man. He has out grown his naps so that means no me time in the afternoon. He is singing songs and has an imaganary pet mouse named mouse that goes everywhere with him in his pocket. Why a mouse? I don't know, but hey it is cute. Especially when I have to carry it in my pocket. He loves going to playcare at the gym where he meets cute little girls. I love seeing him interact with other children. He is very good with his sister, although we are still learning to share and you can't just take that out of her hand. It is a struggle. Come march we are going to be really busy. He will be starting gymnatstics and swim lessons. Also J. and I will be going in swim lessons to.
Updates on Ryan.
BUSY. that is about it.
Updates on Me.
Well, I still try to make it to the gym 4 days a week, but sometimes it is only 2. I have lost 15 pounds and still loosing more. Good old diet. I am taking on a huge project with the family and doing a scrapbook. Thanks to Annie, I have many more stamps and stamp pads. So many more ideas. I try to keep my house clean, but who am I kidding. There is too much to do. I have started my income tax and am dreading doing more. That is about it.
We all had the flu last week and we are just getting back on our feet. J. is finally drinking her bottle, M. is finally eating and not just drinking milk. Other than that, not much is new. Pictures will follow later.

Updates
So I guess I should be doing some updating as I seem to post many pictures. We are all doing well. Ryan is busy with work, rentals and the farm. We are currently getting ready to ship 8 heifiers to Lethbridge for breeding. A farmer out there likes our cows and this will be the third year that we will send him some. Matthew is quite the 2 1/2 year old. Talking up a storm and surprising us as to how much he understands. He is ready for pre-school soon. Jordyn is very different than Matthew. She is wiggly, rolling over, eating her feet. I swear she will be crawling soon. As for me, I have joined LAs weightloss and lost 6 pounds in a week and a half. It is great. The diet is easy to stick to and I am not even missing pasta, rice, or potato's. Okay, maybe the pasta, and desserts, but it is worth it. I am also renovating a rental house which should be done by the end of the week. Thanks to shirley for helping me out. I am also at the gym lots, minus last week as mom was out and I was painting a house. Other than that nothing is new. Our flights are booked for MB and we will be out there from the 17th to the 30th. Not really looking forward to the cold. So now I will post some pictures of the past few weeks. The pictures of me and ryan with the toques on say vegemite which is a spread from Australia. Thanks to Matt's mom for the toques. I think they are great.

She rolls
After her chiropractor appointment 1 month ago, she started to do so rolling over. She is quite proud of herself and now is trying to get her legs under her bum. Not a newborn anymore. After her second round of immunization shots, the public health nurse said she acts more like a 6 month old than an almost 4 month old. I am proud of my little girl.
Quiet Afternoon
Finally, both kids in bed, sleeping. The house is quiet. I can do what I please as long as I am quiet too. Normally that means hanging out on the computer, laundry, supper plans, cleaning, etc. I finally learned how to use all the cardio machines at the gym and am loving it. Today, Sherri (she does the bike class), stopped me in the hall and asked why I wasn't in class today. I just felt like a cardio work out. 1 hr of hard core cardio. 30 on the bike (almost 10 miles and many calories burned) and 30 minutes on the step, but it is like running (1 1/2 miles there with many more calories burned). I am tired and refreshed at the same time. It is time to lose that 20 - 30 pounds that I feel need to go, so onward with my work-out and now onto the diet plan. Yes, diet. I am off to LA Weight loss to see what they are about. I need someone making sure I am eating right, at the right time and I want results. The lumps must go. Okay, now I am sounding vain, but I am just missing my pre-wedding weight. That 26 inch waist is no longer there and I want it back. So we shall see. I will keep you posted as to what I am going to do, but for now, yeah for cardio. I can't wait to get back to the gym tomorrow. My last post I tried to post pictures, so I am adding more on today.

This, that, and everything else.
So it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I seem to spend more time on Facebook and post way more pictures there, so I will have to say, my posts may be fewer and farther between as I prefer facebook. Let me update you as to what has been happening. Ryan is currently on paternity leave from Neova. Big change, but he isn't here at home if that is what you are thinking. His older employer made him an offer that was hard to refuse and for the next 6 months he will be working for Bert's electric. We don't see him as much and I deal with the kids more than I normally do, but that is okay. I get out every morning to the gym 4 days a week and to women's break one day a week. I get an hour or two to myself with no kids and a work-out and talking with other mom's or doing a bible study. I do enjoy my mornings, but really hate getting out of bed. And I used to be such a morning person. The lots that we had for sale on FairField Island are finally all sold. One less headache on many heads. Thank goodness. Now on to the kids. Matthew is growing up so fast. He talks all day long, is trying to cut out his naps which drives me nuts. He can count, knows all the colors, and we are trying to teach him songs and the alphabet, but those ones are a bit of a challenge. This year he is finally able to go to Sunday School and loves it. Grandma Nettie and Grandma Helen teach it and they are wonderful with children. I then send Ryan to Sunday school while Jordyn and I chat it up in the nursery with Cheryl and any other mom that would be in there. I do like that hour in the nursery. While I am at the gym he gets to go to play care and hangs out with lots of other kids. He loves it there and hates it when I say time to go. He also loves blonde little girls, or the blonde care workers. So cute. Now Jordyn. The little princess, well, what can I say, she is 3 months old, rolling over, smiling, talking and today I even got her giggling. Wish I got that on the camera. She is my social butterfly and loves to give smiles to anyone that will talk to her. She has decided that she doesn't like nursing and prefers the bottle and formula, which is fine by me. She is a much happier child on it. So I am weening her off. I am not going to do both. Well, that is our life in a nut shell right now. We are now thinking of Christmas and heading back to MB. It will be cold, but hey, you can't beat a cold night with a fire burning, a good movie, hot chocolate and your family around to talk to. Can't wait to go home.
