Coffee Maker is Broken

So I know, you should stay away from caffeine when you are pregnant, but well, some days I just need it and today was one of those days, but low and behold, as fast as I poured water in it, it came out the bottom. So it is broken and I couldn't have any coffee this morning. So I don't think I can fix it, so I need some good ideas about what type of new coffee maker to buy. I am up to suggestions.

Our Renter is Out

So our renter is out. Not that he packed his stuff up, but he is out. Since we were unable to reach him yesterday, Ryan and Shirley went to his fathers house and his father said that he was in detox. Yep, a druggie with a criminal record apparently. We have to change our screening process I think. The place was a mess. Ryan and Shirley met with his father this morning and they have cleaned up his place, two trips to the garbage dump, the stairs are gone so no one is able to get up there anymore, the kitchen is pulled apart and the cleaning has begun. The floor in the main room looks okay, but the floor in the kitchen will have to be replaced. I am just glad he is gone.

The Boy

Here are some new pictures of my boy. Is he ever growing fast. He can now get 6 words into a sentence and he knows the difference between chicken poo and cow poo. I am a proud mom.

Renters can be squatters

Some of you may know we are trying to evict our renter. Still no luck. He told us, I will be out on the 15th, then the 17th, then today at 11 am, but is he gone? NO. I am frustrated and angry with the system. It makes my blood boil and that is the last thing that I need right now. Why is he still there? Why can't he just leave? I am so tempted to go there and pack up his stuff myself. There is nothing I can do until the hearing on the 24th and even then he won't be ruling that day. FRUSTRATING.

I am now down to 6 weeks left and can't wait for the end. I feel fat, bloated, have a hard time breathing some days and would love to at least sleep longer than 2 1/2 hours before I have to pee. I know, a newborn will be up the same amount of time, but at least I won't be peeing all the time.

I have finally put the closet back together that I have to unpack when the hot water tank blew. My house is a little less cluttered. I even managed to wash all sheets and comforters today plus a load of darks (Matthew was out of clean pants) before I ran out of laundry soap. Guess tomorrow is shopping day.

I hope everyone has had a great long week-end. Mine, well, I slept through most of it. :)
