Oh, I am on the home stretch now. I have washed all the baby clothes, bought a new crib mattress for the crib. (matthew is still using his in his toddler bed.) Realized that as soon as this kid is out, I am going to have to make a trip to Old Navy in Langley to buy some baby clothes. Okay, so I could probably go to Wal-mart, but in my opinion, they just don't last. Sears is good, but I don't like their style and Please Mum is way over priced and Gap, well, the word says it all, so I will go to Old Navy. Not that a new born needs lots, but a winter baby vs a summer baby means different clothes and if it is a girl, I am sorry, but I can't honestly put a girl in boys clothes. Around the house, yes, but if I go out, it has to be pink. My mom booked her plane ticket out and that is exciting. She helped so much with Matthew that I know it will be the same again. Ryan and I actually were able to have a few free evenings together. Putting the kid on a bottle right away as well is a life saver. More freedom. It was still breast milk, but just in a bottle form. I am ready for this second child to arrive. I want to have my normal body back, no back pain, no heart burn everytime I bend over to pick something up, be able to chase down Brie when she is not behaving.
A Dog Story about Brie.
Last night, Ryan was coming home late from work (they shut down the plant this week for repairs) and I left supper on the table for him. I also left the patio door open, but the screen door was closed. Matthew and I walked over to Ian and Shirleys because he wanted to play with Grandpa. I dropped him off and when I walked into the house there is this black figure moving around my kitchen. So the first few thoughts were a bear, coyote? Nope, Brie and she ate all of Ryan's supper plus licked the cheese whiz bottle. Not to impressed.
Anyways, I am going to sign off now as I am falling asleep. Blasted head cold again.
