My Big boy Matthew

So we have been having some nice weather lately and Matthew has been able to enjoy being outside. I have to say that it is a blessing. He is pretty good at staying in the backyard and playing by himself if I need to make supper, do dishes, or anything else in the kitchen/dinning room area. I can't go to far from there because I need to be able to see what he is doing. I have to say, he is the independent little man. I am able to send him to grandma and grandpas down the drive without someone coming into our house to get him. As long as someone is at the end of the road waiting for him. And like any other boy, if there are puddles, he hits every single one. I need to find some splash pants for him. The below pictures are what he has been up to outside. He, Brie, and Jet are starting to get along better. The dogs are starting to leave him alone while he is playing. Brie is much more laid back than Jet. They did give me a scare yesterday. I heard them barking and went to investigate and found Brie barking at a coyote only standing about 10 feet away from her. Jet was in our yard barking at the coyote too. Once I got their attention and they were back on the deck. I informed the 2 dogs very kindly, if you get into a fight I am not saving your life. Jet cost enough last year, that I am not going for a repeat performance. I then brought Brie to the front of the house and tied her up. I trust Jet not to chase, but well, Brie is only 7 months old. She will learn quickly.

On Sunday, Patty, Adrian and Landen came over for a visit and dropped off an early baby gift. (Thank you so much) It was a vibrating chair for the baby. I had mentioned that I was going to buy one before the baby was born and they wanted to beat me too it. We ended up going to their house for supper and since they have one, Matthew discovered it and loved sitting in it. So the next day, I set up ours and now Matthew sits in it, watches tv in it and when we ask whose chair it is, he says that it is his. Oh dear, it is cute really. I likes it up and likes to have the toys hanging too. Thanks again Patty and Adrian, the chair will come in handy
.

Just an FYI, 8 1/2 more weeks to go. Can you tell I want this child out?
