Anything and Everything
I think spring may actually be here finally. It has been sunny for two days, kinda. I am currently sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring. Only because my washer decided that I shouldn't wash anymore clothes and I am waiting for Totem appliances to call me and tell me the part has arrived (I ordered it yesterday and they said it would be here by 10 am) and then I can go and pick it up. Lets just say, my Saturday, will be doing laundry. Matthew has no clean jeans, Ryan is on his last pair of clean work pants and my maternity tops are dirty so I don't want to go out nor do I want to buy anymore mat. clothes for they are really expensive. I did buy some regular clothes yesterday at Old Navy. Naomi and I went shopping. I have to say, it was a great day, but we both said that next time, the boys are not coming with us. I did find a diaper bag for the new baby,(11 weeks left) that is a diaper bag, but not an ugly bag. I found a few other things that we one my list as well. So, as I was driving into my drive way yesterday afternoon, I saw that my lovely puppy Brie has discovered that she can take garbage out of the can. My empty flour bag, Tim Hortons cups, you get the pictures. Because I know that she has been up to no good, I look to see what else I can find. (Please keep in mind that I am still in my car.) I see that she has also found Ryan's shoes again and both were scattered in the driveway. So I leave Matthew strapped in his car seat, grab the dog before she runs away, grab the shoe and I beat her with it. I had to do it this way because she runs from me and well, I am six months pregnant. I can't catch a dog, especially one that knows she was bad and cowers away. Ryan and I have come to the conclusion that if she keeps this up, she will be tied up while we are out during the day to teach her a lesson. I hate to do it, but what choice do I have. If you have any suggestions about what to do about a puppy that digs, eats garbage and steals shoes and boots, please let me know.

Hey Carissa, When we first got our dog he would dig. I discovered that it's a plee for attention because we wern't at home to play with him or talk to him. Keep disipling her when you find new holes, however buy a toy that will keep her busy while you are away. For example something she can throw and chase, along with a bone that will take forever to chew up. When you go go away bring out these toys and give them to her, and when you get home take them away. This way she knows that she's cared for and it's a privilege to play with these toys. It worked for us. Good luck.
I had a great time too! We will definately leave the boys behind next time so we can have a break, maybe we will have to do Vancouver and hit Guilford for your maternity clothes and Ikea for fun!
