Tornadoes
I had been trying to get a hold of my mother yesterday, jsut to chat. Letting her know that there is no baby yet, but I am hanging in there, there was no answer. Ryan tried again later that night, just as they were calling us. See we keep calling to make sure that Grandpa Freezie (Matthew can't say Friesen yet) comes out with mom in July. Of course the little boy thinks that he should drive his combine out here. The BIG combine. It is very cute. So as I am talking to mom and she is relaying to me that they just spent like the last 4 hours watching tornadoes touch down in Elie and they could see them from the house. Our house is a good 15 minute drive from Elie, but the pictures mom had were amazing. I couldn't believe the size of them and mom said they moved slowly and stayed on the ground for a good 15 - 20 minutes each. There were two of them. So after they touched down and left, mom and dad decided to go and see the damage that they had caused. My parents the storm chasers. So below are some pictures of the tornadoes and of the aftermath. I am glad that they didn't come close to our house. The tornado pictures are taken from the end of the road at my parents house and just remember Elie is a good 15 minute drive away. i love matthew's comment about Grandpa Freezie and the combines. too cute! i can't believe how big those tornatdos were. and so close to home! very "Wizard of Oz". remember that time we were watching the "Wizard of Oz" at your place and they started issuing toronado warnings at the bottom of the tv screen? it terrified me. i couldn't watch it again for years. ha!
I am a stay at home mom, paper girl for Inter Valley Angus, run this errand for me and everything inbetween. I love God, my husband and kids. The louder the music the better so no one can hear me sing. I like keeping in touch with friends by phone or email.
